JOIN US FOR OUR KICKOFF TO SUMMER SHRIMP BOIL!
|
The Junior League of High Point, Inc. proudly announces its first annual Kick-Off to Summer Shrimp Boil to be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. at the Junior League Headquarters, located at the Briles House, 1103 N. Main Street in High Point. The Junior League of High Point believes this fundraiser will bring members of the community together to enjoy an evening of music, dancing, laughter and great food, while supporting the High Point community at the same time. Tickets are $50 each, which includes a traditional low country shrimp boil dinner, beverages, dessert, and live music.
All proceeds will benefit the historic preservation of the Briles House - the jewel on Main Street which serves not only as the League headquarters, but is also available to the community for meetings, socials, bridal parties and other rental opportunities. The Junior League of High Point has faithfully refurbished the Briles House to its original historic splendor and looks forward to celebrating the 105th year of the House in October 2012.
This year the Junior League of High Point is also celebrating its 84th year of service in the High Point community, and the League is enthusiastic about hosting this new event. In return, the community will reap the benefits of this fundraising effort through the historic preservation of the Briles House, while also recognizing the League’s impact on the community through such programs as Kids in the Kitchen and the Kick-Off to Kindergarten.
For more information or to order tickets, please call the Junior League office at 336-889-5479. The office is open from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Tickets may also be purchased from our Active membership. Tickets are available now.
